Our Product Development departments focus is on product illustration and digital prototyping. We work with the individual inventor to turn their idea into a visible marketable product.  A digital prototype can be developed many different ways, from a sketch to a detailed computer generated prototype, either way the end result will allow you to see the outward appearance and or functionality of your invention. Just like a product ad in a catalog or magazine a digital prototype will allow you to visually communicate your idea in both form and function.  A realistic image of your invention with lighting, movement and environmental effects simulates an element of reality. We will work with you to convert your idea into presentable image so you can professionally present your idea to potential investors, buyers, manufacturers, licensees, trade shows or in marketing material.

Before you spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on a physical prototype develop a digital prototype, work through design changes and then if it is necessary develop a working prototype.  The goal is to get your idea developed and then protected so you can present it to companies who would have an interest in profiting from your idea. A working prototype can be very expensive and is not always necessary to sell an idea. If a company is interested in your idea and needs a working prototype than you should invest in a physical prototype. A digital prototype will not only capture interest but it will be a blueprint for developing a prototype as well as show the finished product of a rough prototype. 

Licensing an invention reduces the inventors financial risk and greatly improves your chances of getting your idea to market.  The least expensive way to get an idea to market is to protect your idea with a patent pending and then license your idea to an established company. Licensing is a contract between a company and an inventor where the inventor gets paid a percentage of every product sold. To get a company interested in your invention an inventor will submit a sell sheet or design and prototype illustrations to a companies product development department. Most companies review several ideas every year looking for an idea that fits their business model and is profitable.  If your invention presents a profitable solution/novelty to a companies customer base and they express interest in your idea then you can begin to negotiate a royalty for every product sold or sell the company your idea.
